Staff and Volunteer Appreciation Parties

No one works harder than people who are helping the community and changing the world every day.  Thank them for a job well done with a fun Alamo event or new release screening.

Discounted Field Trips

Your students finally made it through the class novel! To celebrate and add to their understanding of the book, bring your class to the Alamo Drafthouse to watch the film adaptation.  We even produce free discussion guides to films such as TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD to add to the experience.  Discounted field trips are available during off-peak times.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can we stretch our event budget as much as possible?

Weekday events are the most economical, especially during off-peak months like October or February.  Many hosts meet their food/beverage minimum by inviting guests to order on individual tabs, in addition to what the host is providing.  You might also seek out sponsorships to help underwrite your event costs - sponsors love seeing their logo on the big screen!

Can the Alamo Drafthouse donate the venue for our event?

When we schedule a private event in our theaters, it sometimes means we must cancel a new release screening.  In those situations, we are often required to compensate film distributors for the cancelled show and must cover that cost through a venue rental.  However, we are committed to supporting our community through significantly discounted venue rentals and more flexible food/beverage minimums.

We are not a nonprofit group, but are raising money for a charitable cause.  Do we qualify for discounted rates?

To qualify for discounted rates and sales tax exemption, you must book the event in partnership with a nonprofit or school.  Please provide documentation of their tax-exempt status, such as an IRS 501(c)3 determination letter or state sales tax exemption form, to your event manager.

Can the Alamo Drafthouse help publicize our event?

We would love to promote every event at the Alamo Drafthouse, but it isn’t always possible without overloading our fans.  If we have space, we are happy to share information about your event, but we cannot guarantee specific promotional help.  We also maintain a “no onscreen ads” policy in our theaters, which applies to public service announcement videos.

How can I request a donation from the Alamo Drafthouse?

Please go to our Community page to complete our online donation form and someone will be in touch with you shortly.
