You’re Tearing Me Apart,Tommy Wiseau!

Oh, hi there, fans of laughably bad cinema.  Have we got a treat for you!  Starting this Friday, we are rolling out a handful of midnight screenings of Tommy Wiseau's craptacular masterpiece, THE ROOM.  If you haven't experienced the majesty of what has been called the "CITIZEN KANE" of terrible movies, you best get with the program!

Completely financed and distributed by Mr. Wiseau, the film premiered at the Laemmle Theatre in Los Angeles in June of 2003. Within minutes of the start of the film, audience members were literally rolling around the aisles, crying with laughter.  Whether or not Tommy Wiseau intentionally shot his film as a “black comedy” as he claims, or is simply a completely inept filmmaker (and actor) is utterly irrelevant. THE ROOM has solidified its place as a midnight movie cult hit.

Audiences from around the globe (as far away as the f-ing SOUTH POLE) have spoken, and they all agree that THE ROOM is about as much fun you can have at the theater while still wearing clothes.  The film has inspired a video game, hilarious parodies starring notable celebrities, drinking games, and it's very own sound board.  So, grab your spoons and footballs, and get ready for a raucously good time.  God bless the great Tommy Wiseau!

THE ROOM - Jan 14, 21, 28, Feb 4 - The Village
