Who Did It?  The Clue Quote-Along, That’s Who!

“I have absolutely no idea what we're doing here. Or what I'm doing here, or what this place is about, but I am determined to enjoy myself.”

If you know precisely how that speech of Mrs. Peacock’s ends -- and even now, you're sitting at your screen muttering how delicious the soup is – then the CLUE Quote-Along was designed especially for you, and you're cordially invited to join our party on Tuesday, April 16 at 7:00

CLUE is an oddity in more ways than one. Released in 1985, long before Hollywood decided every board game and toy was up for blockbluster grabs, it was a critical and box office failure.  But it developed a cult following,
and with the rise of Internet movie fandom, this quirky and witty mystery has climbed out of the underground to become a beloved classic.

Set in 1954 and laced with HUAC humor, CLUE finds a collection of strangers (all collected under colorful pseudonyms) gathered together at the request of Mr. Wadsworth (Tim Curry).   The one thing they all have in common is that they’re being blackmailed by Mr. Boddy (Lee Ving), and once Wadsworth reveals they’re all locked in, the choice becomes murderously clear.   But who did it?  With twists, turns, and alternative endings, it has as many possibilities as the board game it originated from. And with a cast boasting the comedic talents of Christopher Lloyd, Madeline Kahn, Michael McKean, Eileen Brennan, Lesley Ann Warren and Martin Mull, it’s as funny as it is convoluted.

The CLUE QUOTE-ALONG is part of our Action Pack series, which means that the fun doesn’t end with parroting your favorite lines (though we do subtitle the screen to highlight all the gems).  We also hand out props to deploy during key moments of the film, but CLUE fans can breathe easy knowing there won’t be any lead pipes in your prop bag.

As with all our special events, our full food and drink menu will be available inside the theater.  If something catches your fancy, simply write down your order on the paper provided, and pop it into the metal rail on your table.  Our stealthy team of ninja servers will run by to collect it, and have your order out to you faster than you can quote from Alfred, Lord Tennyson.

Should you want to prime your throat for the Quote-Along ahead of time, you can order a drink straight from our box office, and carry it into the theater with you.  We promise, none of the brandy is poisoned.

And if CLUE has you longing for an evening in a dim and sexy drawing room, then you can wrap up your evening in our lobby tavern, Glass Half Full.  If you were too busy playing along with CLUE to remember to eat, you can still dine from our menu inside. You never need a movie ticket to visit Glass Half Full, so feel free to visit any time life becomes too much of a mystery, and you need to solve it with a Beef Royale with Cheese.

Tickets for the CLUE QUOTE-Along  on April 16 are on sale now.  You have your motive. Now get your ticket.
