We’ll be paying tribute to Robin Williams for the rest of the year - beginning with HOOK!

It's been a week but we are still processing the death of Robin Williams. How do you say good bye to a person responsible for so many movie memories. It doesn't matter what kind of film fan you are - there is at least one film in Williams' vast filmography that you are in love with. Guaranteed.

To pay tribute to the man and his work, we will be offering free screenings of several Robin Williams titles over the next few months. Up first is HOOK - we have made this film our final Alamo Kids Camp title of the summer. Join us every day beginning Friday, August 22 through Thursday, August 28 for a free screening of HOOK in the morning. Admission is free and all ages are welcome.

You can reserve your seat here.

In HOOK, Williams plays an adult Peter Pan who must remember his forgotten past as the legendary hero to rescue his kids from Captain Hook who, despite many years, still holds a grudge. Steven Spielberg directs an all-star cast that includes Dustin Hoffman, Julia Roberts and Bob Hoskins.

On Sunday, August 31, we will screen one of Robin William's more dramatic roles in THE FISHER KING, an astonishingly rich film from director Terry Gilliam.

You can reserve your seat here.

In THE FISHER KING, Williams plays Parry, a homeless man who believes himself to be on a mission to find the Holy Grail. Jeff Bridges is a disgraced shock jock who steps in to help Parry and, in the process, finds his own path towards redemption.

Help us pay tribute to Robin Williams at either one of these films and keep your eye on the calendar for future free Robin Williams screenings all month long.
