The Craft Brew Revolution will be televised

If you've ever gotten the chance to see Dogfish Head owner Sam Calagione in action, I don't have to tell you that this guy really knows his shit.  Of all the brewers that we've had the pleasure of dealing with in the past (and there have been quite a few), I think it's safe to say that Sam will always be our all-time favorite.  When it comes to the craft beer scene, Sam is about as close to a rock star as they come.  So, when we heard that Discovery Channel was launching a new show about beer, it came as no surprise that they chose Sam to helm the new project.

All we had to do was read the brief synopsis on the Discovery Channel website and it became a mad dash to set our DVRs to record.

"BREW MASTERS follows Sam and his partners in suds as they travel the country and the world sourcing exotic ingredients and discovering ancient techniques to produce beers of astounding originality."

In celebration of the premiere episode on Sunday, November 21st, we are setting up shop at the Ritz to experience this show as God intended, with a Dogfish Head in hand.  Join us as we knock back a few and watch Sam do his thing.  You know we'll have something special from Dogfish Head on tap.  Admission is FREE, but you can reserve your seat with a $5 food voucher redeemable for food (and more importantly, BEER).  Check out the show's promo spot below.  Oh, and as a bonus, I'll also include a video of Sam kicking it Pain Relievaz style at the Alamo Lake Creek during this year's Off-Centered Film Festival.
