There is no better way to celebrate your mother than by taking her to The Alamo for a delectable feast of food, film and champagne.

At South Lamar we will feature last summer's instant classic musical Mamma Mia.  I have decided to showcase the best parts of the film, the amazing Swedish music of Abba and the glorious scenery of Greece.  The menu pairs a different sparkling wine with each course.  The brunch is inspired  from the fjords and islands with classic Swedish pancakes, a Aegean spinach soup with feta foam,  and seared prawn, a classic Swedish hash of roast lamb and fingerling potatoes, juniper cured salmon, and custard filled phyllo.

The Village's Elijah Horgan offers a treat filled viewing of Breakfast at Tiffany's this Sunday.  Inspired by Audrey Hepburn's tour de force, Elijah will plate a menu based on the characters and setting of glorious NYC.  He will start you off as she did with coffee and donuts, then onto lox, Japanese custard, a new york strip on homemade biscuits, and berries and cream.  Of course all of this will be paired with wine.

Chick flicks, bubbles and worldly delights,there is no better way on earth  to show your mom you love her and celebrate her day than at the Alamo this Sunday!!!
