We're four weeks into the run of Fantastic Fest smash hit LET THE RIGHT ONE IN and the admissions have held steady since week one. Not only that, it was the highest grossing movie at the Alamo South Lamar last weekend. Bear in mind that this is a Swedish subtitled coming-of-age vampire picture, but yet it outgrossed that other vampire picture TWILIGHT in week number 2, and continues to do so week after week. The reason is simple. LET THE RIGHT ONE IN is one of the best films I've seen in a long time, a total package of a film: sweet, smart, funny, scary, emotional, disturbing and complex. Beautifully shot and acted, LET THE RIGHT ONE IN may not top the Oscars or the Golden Globes, but I assure you that this little film will restore your faith in moviemaking.
