IFC Midnight, the new genre label of IFC Films, and Fantastic Fest have partnered to give film lovers across the country the opportunity to experience Fantastic Fest as it happens from their own living room.
As part of this initiative, a select group of incredible genre films screening at the 2010 Fantastic Fest are now simultaneously available in 40 million homes—and virtually all major U.S. markets—nationwide via cable’s movie on demand platform. Participating cable platforms include Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cablevision, Bright House and Cox.
The films include: Philip Ridley’s demonic thriller HEARTLESS (U.S. Premiere); Abel Ferry’s mountain climbing nightmare HIGH LANE (U.S. Premiere); Josh Reed’s Ozploitation horror flick PRIMAL (U.S. Premiere); and Simon Rumley’s hard-core RED WHITE & BLUE.
In addition, IFC Midnight has also made three acclaimed films from previous Fantastic Fests available on demand as part of this initiative including: Tom Six’s THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE, Kim Ji-Woon’s THE GOOD THE BAD THE WEIRD, and Jake West’s DOGHOUSE.
