Get your burger on at February’s COMING TO AMERICA screenings

Remember when Eddie Murphy was funny? While the "comedian" is now more often than not a punchline himself, there was once a period where Murphy wasn't limited to one-note gags and fat suits. The '80s were a kind time to Murphy and his comedy — that's why we're celebrating his work with a special screening of COMING TO AMERICA, the 1988 comedy directed by John Landis.

Murphy stars as Prince Akeem, an African native who takes a trip to America to find himself. From the movie, you'll get a colorful cast of characters — half of which are played by Murphy and co-star Arsenio Hall thanks to makeup work by Rick Baker, you'll get James Earl Jones in a roll that won't scare you/make you sob like a baby and you'll get plenty of sexual chocolate to go around.

As an added bonus, audiences will have the opportunity to order McDowell's Burger Baskets to ingest during the meal. The Big Mick Meal is a double burger fast food special perfect for snacking on during the film. So come hungry - for both burgers and laughter - and leave full.

Wednesday, February 1 @ 7:30 PM — West Oaks

Thursday, February 16 @ 7:30 PM — Mason Park
