FILM SCHOOL PRESENTS ‘SOLARIS’

This Saturday, April 6th, Drafthouse Film School brings you Andrei Tarkovsky’s Solaris (1972). Follow psychologist Kris Kelvin (Donatas Banionis) to the remote ocean-planet, Solaris, where the scientists in the orbiting space station are suffering from mysterious mental disturbances. Kelvin’s investigation is interrupted by the unexpected appearance of his dead wife, and his perception of reality is abruptly thrown into turmoil. This film becomes more than just science fiction–it explores the nature of love and existence.

This week we’re in the 2pm timeslot. Alamo Drafthouse will have its lunch menu available. Join us at the Drafthouse to kick off the first of several science fiction films this month.

The screening is Saturday, April 6th at 2 p.m. All Film School Screenings are just $5.
