Big changes are afoot this weekend at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema – Mason Park. We have given a facelift to our menu and the way we serve food during a film.

First off, let’s talk sandwiches and burgers. We have given the burger and sandwich portion of our menu an overhaul in order to offer more flexibility to our guests. We now offer three options for a sandwich – a ½ pound 100% Angus Chuck Patty, a Marinated and Grilled Chicken Breast or a Vegetarian Patty made with mushrooms, black beans, red peppers, brown rice and quinoa. From those three basic options, customers can now customize their sandwich or burger with eight styles, including Royale with Cheese, Wild Mushroom, Green Chile, Spicy Bleu, Big Kahuna, Prosciutto and Goat Cheese, Sprout and Parmesan Caesar. All of our burger buns are baked in house daily and toasted per order.

Our new burger patties are also 1 oz larger than previous patties and our chicken breasts have grown 2 oz! All sandwiches will continue to be served with fries.

As part of this change, we’ve moved stuff around on our menu a bit so if you don’t see your favorite item, please ask a server and they’ll help you either locate the item or recommend a tasty substitute.

Perhaps even bigger news is that we’ve revamped the way we serve food – mainly, we’ve gotten rid of noisy paper wrappers. No more paper rustling in the movie theater while you eat – our meals will now be served in 18 gauge aluminum high walled tin – designed to keep your food the right temperature and cut down on mess and noise during the movie.

So come out this weekend and check out our new menu and try one of our tasty new sandwiches. After that, come back to this page and let us know what you thought in the comments section.
