This month we’re stoked to welcome Master Pancake, our ferociously funny friends from Austin, back to Houston. A comedy troupe that specializes in riffing on films while they play live on the big screen, Master Pancake is heading back to H-town to cook the goose of Ryan Gosling with a special live mocking of THE NOTEBOOK.

In honor of Spinal Tap lead guitarist Nigel Tufnel’s amps (you know, the ones that go up to eleven), we’re celebrating the most elevenist day in human history — 11/11/11. And the only way one can really, truly celebrate a day like 11/11/11 is with a THIS IS SPINAL TAP Quote/Sing-Along.

In 2006, director Chris Paine released the critically acclaimed documentary WHO KILLED THE ELECTRIC CAR? — an exploration into the creation and subsequent failure of the battery electric vehicle in the United States. Five years later, Paine is back with REVENGE OF THE ELECTRIC CAR, a new documentary that follows a group of entrepreneurs as they attempt to breathe life into the electric car market during the added challenge of a global recession.

This November, we’re giving audiences three chances to see the film in two very special ways.

We sat down with the the film's director to disgust, er, discuss just how raunchy Neil Patrick Harris was willing to go!
