Q: How can I request a refund of my ticket purchase?
There are two ways to request a refund - online and in person.
Requesting a Refund via the Alamo Drafthouse Mobile App
If you are a Victory member who purchased a ticket via drafthouse.com or the Alamo Drafthouse mobile app, you can request a refund of your ticket, minus the online booking fee, via the mobile app. The online booking fee will not be refunded (effective Feb 1, 2018). The following restrictions apply:
- You must request your refund prior to one hour before show time
- Refunds will be made to the same credit card used to purchase the ticket. It takes 3-5 business days for the refund to appear on your credit card statement.
- Tickets purchased using a gift card can not be refunded online - contact your venue to assist you with the refund
- Ticket transactions that contain merchandise can not be refunded online - contact your venue to assist you with the refund
Requesting a Refund in Person at the Theater
You may also request a refund of your ticket, minus the online booking fee, in person at the box office. The following restrictions apply:
- You must request your refund prior to one hour before show time
- Refunds will be made to the same credit card used to purchase the ticket. It takes 3-5 business days for the refund to appear on your credit card statement.
Effective Feb 1, 2018, we will no longer be refunding the online booking fee.
When will I see confirmation of my refund?
You will receive an email confirmation for online refunds only. The funds will appear on your card in 3-5 business days.
