Moms and Dads Everywhere Rejoice, The Alamo offers Baby Day!

At the Alamo Drafthouse, we pride ourselves on providing the best guest experience possible.  Sometimes, this means restricting an event to adults. Other times, it’s all about the smaller set and the families.   It’s a balance we try to strike, because we want everyone to feel welcome at our theater. We consider our guests family, and we never want to tell family they can’t come over.

Because we’re family, we know how hard it is for parents to get out of the house with a new baby. That’s why we have Baby Days every Tuesday (excluding some national holidays). Any show on Tuesday that starts before 2:05pm is a Baby Day showing.

At Baby Day, infants are welcome, and admitted free of charge.  We also try to make the screening as comfortable for mom, dad, and baby as possible. Lights are left a little brighter, and our sound is turned down slightly, so baby never has to know they were at the movies, and you can actually see to reach into the diaper bag.

And, of course, we will not kick anyone out if their baby starts crying. We know the game.

Even though these screenings are slightly different, our full food and drink menu are still available within the theater.  Now, Mom and Dad can really relax and indulge, because at the Drafthouse you’ll be the ones being waited on hand and foot by our team of servers.  Just pop up an order card, and they will be happy to bring anything you’re hungry or thirsty for, without disturbing anyone big or small.

So, take some time for yourself, Mom and Dad!  Pack up the kids, and come catch up on the latest blockbuster at the Alamo Drafthouse.
