About Alamo Drafthouse Springfield
The Alamo Drafthouse box office opens 40 minutes before all scheduled show times. Guests are welcome to enjoy drinks and appetizers before the film, either in their seats or at The Backlot Taproom. A curated program of shorts, cartoons, and other video content will play before the film. Advance tickets are available online for all shows. The Backlot Taproom hours are Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. - midnight, and Friday and Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
Alamo Drafthouse Springfield features fourteen screens for new release movies, family and independent films, as well as the Alamo’s unique signature repertory programming. Auditoriums will be equipped with the highest quality Sony 4k digital projection, equipped for both and RealD 3D and 2D presentations. State-of-the-art, bi-amplified QSC digital audio systems provide full range multi-channel fidelity for faithful reproduction of audio soundtracks. One auditorium is also equipped with a reel-to-reel 35mm projector system. Each 35mm print is treated with the utmost care and respect from our professional projectionists.
Alamo Drafthouse provides Closed Captioning services for the majority of its regular movie screenings. However, some special events utilize film formats - like 35mm - that often do not allow for caption services. For more information on the Closed Caption capabilities at a specific film screening, please contact the box office.
Please note our policies for talking, texting, and arriving late (we're against it). Families with young children, check out our Alamo For All showings! And remember, if you need anything while enjoying a movie with us, from refills to noisy guest issues, write it and raise it!
