Two-time Academy Award-winning actor Christoph Waltz (INGLORIOUS BASTERDS, DJANGO UNCHAINED) stars in a new sci-fi epic from director Terry Gilliam who continues his tradition of visually-stunning fantasy films that he mastered in the 1980's with TIME BANDITS, BRAZIL, and THE ADVENTURES OF BARON MUNCHAUSEN.

In THE ZERO THEOREM, Waltz play Qohen, a reclusive computer genius working on a mysterious project that may reveal the meaning of life - or the lack of one.  Gilliam has called the film the conclusion of his dystopian satire trilogy (or "Orwellian Triptych") that also includes 1985's BRAZIL and 1995's 12 MONKEYS.

"Tackles big ideas without pretension, reminding us that Terry Gilliam is an essential filmmaker, taking on the thankless task of making the personal, difficult, ambitious movies cinema needs if it is to survive." -Kim Newman, EMPIRE
