We're teaming up with Hudson Horror Show for a 35mm double feature of epic proportions!

Name me one horror classic with a guy in drag?  OK forget Psycho, if you can name two movies with a deranged maniac dressed up like a lady, well, the other one has go to be 1979’s TOURIST TRAP!  Produced by Full Moon’s own Charles Band, helmed by first time director David Schmoeller (who went on to do a lot of work for Full Moon, including the first Puppetmaster movie) and featuring a cast of legendary TV actor Chuck Connors and pre-Charlie’s Angels Tanya Roberts, TOURIST TRAP is one of the most unsettling and unique horror movies from the late 70’s and early 80’s.  Not quite a slasher movie, yet you still get beautiful teenagers that are isolated and stalked one by one, plus creepy wax mannequins, kinetic super powers, and well, cross dressing!

The 2014 Blu Ray release of TOURIST TRAP has been extremely controversial as the print used was apparently edited by approximately five minutes.  Want to see the full uncut version of this horror cult classic off glorious 35mm film?  Coming down to the Alamo Drafthouse in Yonkers is the only way to do it!

The companion movie to TOURIST TRAP is the one and only, the Templar Knights zombie classic, TOMBS OF THE BLIND DEAD!  Directed by Amando de Ossorio, this tale of blinded knights coming back from the dead for revenge as horseback riding zombies (on zombie horses no less) spawned three sequels as well as influenced legendary film makers like Jess Franco and John Carpenter.

While they don’t eat your brains or move very fast, the Blind Dead carry sharp swords and well, possess super hearing!  These undead knights listen for your heartbeat, so the harder your heart beats, the quicker they will find you.  When released theatrically in the United States, TOMBS OF THE BLIND DEAD was shockingly re-cut and re-titled REVENGE OF PLANET APE. This very rare alternate version of the film will be screened. While Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is still riding high, come see the Spanish zombie Planet of the Apes horror prequel that never was!
