Welcome to the Graveyard Shift — where night owls come together to enjoy some of the best horror movies ever made. From the legends of frights to unknown gems to new classics, every month the Alamo Drafthouse will pick out a favorite from the vault for your enjoyment.
Founded in 2011, Graveyard Shift has been Houston's monthly source for horror screenings for over half a decade. Beginning May 2017, though, Graveyard Shift went weekly!

Every Friday night, Houston horror hounds will be treated to a new or classic scary film. Screenings will also include giveaways, surprises and more! Attendees will receive a passport that can be stamped at the weekly screenings - the more films you attend, the more stamps you get. The more stamps you get, the more prizes you earn.
Five stamps = A free popcorn
Ten stamps = A free movie ticket
Twenty stamps = A pint glass
Thirty stamps = A t-shirt
Forty stamps = A chance to program a title
Fifty stamps = Free admission to Graveyard Shift for a year
A hundred stamps = Free admission to Graveyard Shift for life
