Cinema is filled with extraordinary women who inspire us with their intelligence, wit, confidence, and strength. Women who blaze trails, shatter glass ceilings, and maybe even slay a few vampires here and there.

This month, we get to meet a woman unlike any we’ve seen before: CAPTAIN MARVEL, a powerful hero who crash lands on Earth in the year 1995 to protect the human race from an interplanetary war. Excited? Us too. So to commemorate her arrival, we’re launching the limited series, GIRL POWER, a celebration of the bold, badass women of '90s cinema.

Just as no two women are alike, neither are the characters in our series. Whether she’s a scientist, filmmaker, cheerleader, bookworm, or leather-clad hacker who is extraordinarily good at kung-fu, everyone can find someone to relate to. The one thing they all have in common is that they are each a force to be reckoned with. Damsels in distress need not apply.
