Five World & North American Premieres For Fantastic Fest Programming Sidebar

Austin, TX--- Thursday, February 10, 2011---SXFantastic, a series of midnight films programmed by Fantastic Fest, the largest genre film festival in the US, announces five titles for the South By Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival.  The 2011 SXFantastic lineup continues the Fantastic Fest tradition of delivering the best and most unique action, horror, thriller, sci-fi and just plain fantastic films, from emerging talent to returning Fantastic Fest filmmaker favorites.  SXFantastic,was the home of last year's world premieres of Gareth Edward's indie genre sensation MONSTERS and the much-buzzed A SERBIAN FILM.  

SUDOR FRIO (COLD SWEAT)(World Premiere, Argentina)

What do you do if you are a right-wing Argentinean terrorist and your state-sanctioned organization is disbanded?  We can’t say, but it involves chatrooms, bare breasts and a generous slathering of nitro-glycerine.

THE FP(World Premiere, USA)

Accompanied by his brother JTRO, Beat-Beat Revelation champion BTRO must compete for the pride of their hometown, Frazier Park (The FP). His opponent: ruthless fighter and trash talker, L Dubba E. L Dub not only defeats BTRO, he sends him to an early grave. L Dub's instant climb to power has forced The FP to fall into disarray. Crazed with anger, JTRO vows revenge. After a crash course in the ancient techniques of Beat-Beat from master BLT, JTRO challenges L Dubba E. Their battle to the finish, born of lust, power and revenge, will leave only one man standing.

Jez Jerzy is a skateboarding hedgehog who likes to drink beer and fondle breasts.  He finds it hard to pursue his passions, however, while being tormented by neo-nazi skinheads, mad scientists and a drooling, flatulent clone of himself.

Eight months after a disastrous job in Kiev left him physically and mentally scarred, ex-soldier turned contract killer, Jay, is pressured by his partner, Gal, into taking a new assignment.
