In 1973 martial arts star Bruce Lee was well on his way to becoming the most popular man on Planet Earth. Then he died.
The movie going audiences of the world were not deterred by this inconvenient fact. They wanted MORE BRUCE LEE MOVIES - NOW! So, just as these brave pioneers have done so many times before, the cheap cigar brigade of unscrupulous exploitation film producers went to work, turning out imitation Bruce Lees by the dozen: Bruce Li, Bruce Le, Dragon Lee, Bronson Lee, and more.
There are so many Lee-alike movies that they form a genre in themselves. And no Brucesploitation movie is weirder than this one. Here’s the premise - seriously: Bruce Lee dies and goes to the underworld where he teams up with Dracula, The Godfather, The Exorcist, Clint Eastwood, James Bond, Emmanuelle, Popeye, and many others in an attempt to defeat the Lord Of Darkness.
It’s cheap, fast-moving, incredibly confusing, and hilarious. It will also reveal the very meaning of life, if you’re interested in that kind of thing. (Lars)
