We've had movies based on TV shows and video games by the dozens. Finally, here is a movie based on an airbrush painting from the side of a custom van. It's pretty much exactly what you would expect it to be - a very cheap ripoff of CONAN THE BARBARIAN - but it somehow manages to cram five times as much pure fun into its brief runtime. The muscleman (Lee Horsley) isn't exactly all that muscular, but he does have an incredible two-bladed magic sword that saves the day from the dark king and his evil wizard (played by Richard Moll of NIGHT COURT). It's a really silly, undeniably hilarious movie that absolutely succeeds. One of the perfect summer movies. (Lars)
