Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Presents The Films of Director Park Chan-Wook

Fox Searchlight Pictures and the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema - Vintage Park present the films of director Park Chan-Wook in this day-long marathon chock full of vengeance.

We couldn’t help but notice that the name of our new home at Vintage Park Shopping Village has something in common with the name of one of our favorite directors. While the closing of our West Oaks Alamo Drafthouse Cinema location put an end to the “East Meets West Oaks” series, it didn’t end our commitment to screening the best in Asian cinema.

Join us for a Vintage Park Chan-Wook retrospective (see what we did there?) - a marathon of some of Park Chan-Wook's greatest films and a sneak preview of STOKER, his latest film. An $15 ticket gets you admission to all three Vengeance Trilogy films - SYMPATHY FOR MR. VENGEANCE, OLDBOY and LADY VENGEANCE. In addition, you'll have reserved seating for a special advance screening of Director Park's upcoming film, STOKER!

After India's (Wasikowska's) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother Evelyn (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.

The special advance screening of STOKER is open to Vengeance Trilogy attendees as well as movie-goers. Complimentary STOKER tickets will be available at 5:30 PM for the general public. Seating for STOKER is limited and available on a strictly first-come, first-served basis.

STOKER opens in Houston on March 15.
