In this totally insane body-swapper flick from the '80s, Judge Reinhold is Fred Savage, and Fred Savage is Judge Reinhold when a mysterious oriental skull transforms the father into his son...and VICE VERSA.

Released in 1988 between the sandwich of 1987's LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON and 1988's BIG, VICE VERSA was treated like the forgotten redheaded middle child that no mother ever loved.

Marshall (Reinhold) is a divorced dad and VP of Buying for a department store. On one of his trips to Thailand, he accidentally acquires a mystical skull that belongs to a pair of thieves and soon discovers this skull has special powers. Tasked with taking care of his estranged son, Charlie (Savage), the two begin to argue and wish they could switch places...and then they do! Now Charlie has to act like a grown-up, and Marshall is forced to live with the woman he couldn't stand to stay married to.

Mystical skulls, crazy animation, INSANE, practically shot body shrinking/growing scenes, drunk Fred Savage, and a special appearance by the heavy metal band Malice are just a few of the things you have to look forward to. So, if you're all grown up, come learn how to be a kid again, and if you have kids, BRING 'EM ALONG so you can teach them a lesson. Because being old ain't all it's cracked up to be, and being a kid isn't all fun and games in VICE VERSA. (Greg MacLennan)
