THE VOW Valentine’s Wine Dinner

Join us on Tuesday, February 14 at 7pm as Blue Ridge Bridal Show presents THE VOW Valentine’s Event & Wine Dinner.  Enjoy a four-course gourmet dinner with wine pairings prepared by Alamo’s Executive Chef John Bullington from Austin, TX.  The wines will be introduced and discussed by Michael Janow of D’Vine Wines.  The evening will feature live music from Giovane Players and a screening of the brand new movie THE VOW, starring Rachel McAdams (SHERLOCK HOLMES, MIDNIGHT IN PARIS) and Channing Tatum (DEAR JOHN, THE DILEMMA). 

The menu includes a cupcake from Celebration Flowers and Cakes and:

Appetizer: Crispy Fried Brie with fig-garlic chutney and wine pairing

Salad: Romaine hearts topped with grilled asparagus, heart of palm, tomato and kalamata olives with dijon vinaigrette

Intermezzo: Raspberry Sorbet

Entrée: Seared NY Strip with red pepper relish and a fresh basil crabcake with charred lemon alongside roasted new potatoes and garlic carrots and wine pairing

(Vegetarian Option): Spaghetti Squash Pomodoro baked and served with garlic ciabatta toast and wine pairing

Dessert: Chocolate torte with strawberry coulis and vanilla creme anglaise  with wine pairing
