Capturing performances from The Dead's five-night set at the Winterland Ballroom in 1974 along with the unique culture of the "Deadhead" scene, this Jerry Garcia directed movie is unlike any other document of the Dead. Also mixed in are some really amazing, trippy animated sequences.
