John Green's 2012 novel THE FAULT IN OUR STARS has become a must-read for a generation. Funny, insightful, poignant and deeply romantic, it is one of those books that hits you straight in the heart.

The film adaptation stars Shailene Woodley (DIVERGENT, THE SPECTACULAR NOW) as Hazel, a 16-year-old whose bouts with cancer have kept her out of high school and away from the typical teen scene. While zoning out in a tedious support group led by the well-meaning but preachy Patrick (Mike Birbiglia), she meets Augustus (Ansel Elgort, also from DIVERGENT), a fellow cancer survivor who shares her wise-beyond-her-years view of the world. Bonding over books, movies and music, the two slowly fall in love, even though they realize perhaps the best they can hope for is a "little infinity" they can share.

THE FAULT IN OUR STARS co-stars Laura Dern and Sam Trammell as Hazel's parents, Nat Wolff as Augustus' friend Isaac, and Willem Dafoe as Peter Van Houten, the one-hit-wonder author whose book "An Imperial Affliction" becomes an obsession for both Hazel and Augustus. (James Sanford)
