Ain’t It Cool, Austin Chronicle & Toy Joy present a 35mm screening of this classic film.

Most fantastic movies use special effects to create illusions of giant creatures and impossible battles. But very, very few of these films are courageous enough to use ACTUAL MAGIC. Well, it just so happens that effects ultra-mega-wizard Ray Harryhausen put every drop of his patented silver screen sorcery into THE 7TH VOYAGE OF SINBAD, a rampaging, rollicking, rough-and-tumble mythological adventure that puts every other kid-friendly epic to shame. After Sinbad's princess is shrunken by an evil wizard, the courageous master of adventure undertakes an epic quest to cure her. Along the way, he'll do battle with a giant cylcops, a fighting skeleton, a snake woman, a two-headed Roc and a dragon! If every movie was this outrageously exciting, I’d marry a video store! But there’s only one 7TH VOYAGE OF SINBAD, and we’ve got it in glorious, Technicolor 35mm! So if you like fun, excitement and/or monsters, we’ll be saving you a space on Colossa the island of monsters this Saturday!
