He always wanted to be special...but he never expected this!

Scott Howard is a regular, average kid. He’s not overly popular—sure, he’s on the basketball team but is far from a star player—and, in typical fashion, he likes a girl who’s out of his league while he’s oblivious to the perfectly great girl who likes him. There’s nothing special at all about him until his body starts to...change. One extra normal day, Scott starts to feel funny, his voice drops a couple octaves, he’s starting to grow hair in funny places, and his eyes start glowing red. WHAT?! That’s right; Scott Howard is a werewolf.

Long before the world was swooning and giggling at CGI werewolves and vampires, Michael J. Fox was keeping it real by wearing a furry suit and insane makeup while surfing on top of cars, slamming some dunks, and scoring with babes. For most people, changing into a werewolf is a burden, but for Michael J. Fox it’s a party. Everyone loves the wolf, and the wolf makes everything better.

TEEN WOLF is a rock ‘n’ roll jam through high school in the form of a monster comedy. Featuring special effects by the guys who brought you STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION and TERRORVISION and a script by the team who wrote COMMANDO, TEEN WOLF is a genre-bending ride that critics originally didn’t understand but the public has since grown to love. After sitting on a studio shelf for years, TEEN WOLF was finally unleashed upon the world on the heels of the hugely successful BACK TO THE FUTURE. A success in its own right, it spawned one horrific sequel starring Jason Bateman and had a planned third incarnation with a female wolf to be played by Alyssa Milano that (thankfully) never took off.

Despite the MTV stink that carries the TEEN WOLF name these days, this movie will live on in our hearts and our memories as the original, ridiculous, heartfelt, coming-of-age werewolf movie that could. (Greg MacLennan)
