IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to the rainy weather forecast tomorrow we are changing things up for the FRIDAY Beer Party and moving it indoors to the Alamo Drafthouse Slaughter Lane.  All of the brewers will still be on hand, we are still going to have all the special beers, and yes the ladies of Hip-Hop Hooray will be still be spinning plenty of old school boom-bap! All of the ticket holders have been notified of all the details.  Tickets are no longer available online for this event.  If you have further questions please contact John.Gross@Drafthouse.com & Kristen.Bell@Drafthouse.com.

To quote the popular new age philosopher Smokey (as portrayed by renown modern actor Chris Tucker): “Daaayymmnn!”

The Off-Centered Film Festival is once again taking over downtown Austin’s Republic Square Park setting up a giant movie screen, inviting all of Central Texas’ leading craft breweries to showcase their biggest/baddest offerings and pulling out all sorts of other stops along the way!

This year’s OCFF kicks off in a funny-smelling smoke cloud of comedy and N.W.A’s Ice Cube doing some solid acting with the 1995 stoner-buddy comedy starring N.W.A'sIce Cube and the aforementioned thespian Chris Tucker. This is a comedy that begs to be watched on the big screen in the sweet Texas air with access to some of the best beers in the 'hood.

To paraphrase Cube: I gotta say, Thursday 4/18 will be a good day.

Hop in the hoopty and come enjoy the blunted, bug screen hijinx with a wide sampling of the best beers in Texas! Many of the brewmasters behind these fine ales will be on hand to tell you all about the important work that they do on a daily basis including SAM CALAGIONE from Dogfish Head

Feel free to show up with extra things to enhance the enjoyment of the movie….. You know like curlers in your hair to look like Big Worm.  What did you think I was referring to?

90’s Gangsta rap, goofy stoner comedy, and tasty craft beer. Daaayymmnn
