We kicked last year's Off-Centered Film Fest off with a bang by packing downtown Austin with the leading central Texas breweries and plenty of jelly donuts and a Rolling Roadshow presentation of STRANGE BREW and it was a blast!  With this year’s Western themed craft beer-centric festivities we had to raise the bar and go all out with an amazing evening of beans, cap guns, more beans and Dom Deluise size fits of laughter!  Prepare yourself for the BLAZING SADDLES Quote-Along outdoors in Republic Square Park surrounded by the most outrageous and delicious local beers that exist! It's twue. It's twue. It's twue, it's twue!

What better way to enjoy this completely nutzo Gene Wilder comedy than to partake in a wide sampling of the best beers in Texas?! Many of the brewmasters behind these fine ales will be on hand to tell you all about the important work that they do on a daily basis inclduding SAM CALAGIONE from Dogfish Head!  It’ll be so much fun you’ll punch a horse!

Your admission includes the ultimate western spoof screening complete with subtitles to all of your favorite lines, a cap gun to shoot along with Black Bart and the Waco Kid and a HUGE pot of simmering beans at the front of the screen!  That’s right- Need more beans? Just walk up and slop ‘em in your bowl, Old West style!

We’ll be honoring the gloriously messy ending of the film the best way we know how- with a copious amount of pies on hand and a booth set up where you can pie the brewers and help raise funds for a worthy non-profit- the Texas Craft Brewers Guild!   We will be joined by some very special guests at this event as well that you won’t want to miss!   Seeing BLAZING SADDLES with the patented Action Pack treatment outdoors will be an experience you won’t forget!

Tickets are 10$ in advance and $12 the day of the show.  A HUGE ARRAY of Central Texas craft beers will be available for purchase starting when the gates open at 6pm.  The film itself will start at sundown at aprox 8pm.  

We’ll have a rootin’ tootin’ good time.  Emphasis on the tootin’.
