This screening kicks off a new series of food and film events for 2014 which involves pairing two of man's greatest creations: Beer and cheese!

Similar to our Sommelier Cinema series, but this time we're switching out the wine for beer. And, more specifically, Texas beer.

We're teaming with Live Oak Brewing and Antonelli's Cheese Shop to put together what's sure to be a special night.

Since we're dealing with Texas beer and Texas cheeses we thought showing a film set in Texas was the way to go as the beer culture here has been booming and Texas films don't get much better than NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN.

One of the few time the Coens tackle a straight drama, NO COUNTRY is a brilliant and flawlessly exectued meditation on morality, evil and greed.

The film follows three men: Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin), an everyman who stumbles upon a drug deal gone wrong and finds a suitcase full of cash. Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem), the psychotic killer who's been hired to find Llewelyn and the money. And Sheriff Ed Tom Bell (Tommy Lee Jones), the lawman on the trail of Chigurh.

While the plot allows these men to be connected, it's the Coens' use of theme in their script, adapted from the Cormac McCarthy novel of the same name, that expertly ties these three men together.

The performance of the three leads, the Coens script and direction and the beautiful cinematography from Roger Deakins all make NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN a tense, powerful, haunting experience.

**Your ticket includes a 35mm screening of the film along with three beer and cheese pairings**

The three Live Oak beers featured with the choice pairing of Antonelli's cheeses will be:

SCHWARZER RAUCH with Wildspitz (thermalized cow's milk, Switzerland)
PRIMUS WEIZENBOCK with Abbaye de Belloc (raw sheep's milk, France)
***Third mystery pairing TBD***
