Jon Favreau writes, directs and stars in a deeply personal story about a chef coming to term with past failures and, in the process, finding joy in a new challenge. When Los Angles chef Carl Casper is fired after a war of words with a food blogger, he finds a new purpose in Miami via a Cuban food truck. Along with his son and long-term sous chef (played by John Leguizamo), Casper embarks on a cross-country roadtrip - selling Cuban sandwiches and picking up new tricks as he visits cities including New Orleans, and Austin.

A direct response to the criticism he received after IRON MAN 2, Jon Favreu's CHEF is a funny and touching story about an artist learning to set priorities in his life. Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Sofia Vergara, Dustin Hoffman and Oliver Platt co-star.

Part of the New York Critics Series, this screening will feature a simulcast Q&A with Jon Favreau.
