Monkeyshine Monday features the very best premium hand picked stand-up comics and is hosted by Charlie and his funk band Sweat & Lotion every Monday night 10pm to midnight.
Whether he’s talking to the audience, telling a story or singing a lounge song Charlie wants you to laugh like you mean it.
Sweat & Lotion is Charlie’s personal funk band which opens the show then keeps the tempo up throughout and whenever a comic calls on the band for musical assistance they come through every time. Mark Wilson on sax/flute, Bobby Perkins on bass, Patrick Herzfeld on percussions and Ron Sioson on electric guitar.
You and everyone you know are invited to The Ritz Alamo on Mondays for booze, funk and fun.
