More Info IMDb

The Coen Brothers have made some undisputed masterpieces in their time, from RAISING ARIZONA to NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, and when you're this good at making movies people are bound to overlook some of your lesser successes.

MILLER’S CROSSING blew onto the scene in 1990, despite critical success it was originally a financial letdown before finding its audience on home video. This film features some of the finest acting of its outstanding cast’s careers, breathtaking cinematography and the sharp, quirky dialogue we've come to expect from a Coen Brothers’ film.

Nominated for ZERO Academy Awards this film still lives on in memory as one of the greatest prohibition gangster flicks of all time.

Want to see Albert Finney jump out of a second story window in his pajamas with a tommy gun? Want to see John Turturro deliver one of the most heartbreaking pleads for his life? Want to see an all-out gangster war between Irish and Italian crime families?

Tom Regan (Gabriel Byrne), is the right hand man to aging, Irish crime boss Leo (Albert Finney). Leo could be on his way out if Italian boss, Caspar, has anything to say about it. Double-crosses and manipulation are the name of the game in this masterful send up to bullet-riddled gangsters, smoking guns, and femme fatales.

If that's not enough we'll have Alamo Beverage Director, Bill Norris, on hand crafting us some custom cocktails to go with the film. (Greg MacLennan)

Improved Whiskey Cocktail
A take on the old fashioned, with rye whiskey improved by Luxardo Maraschino, Absinthe, Sugar and Bitters

Remember the Maine
A twist on the classic Rye Manhattan that adds a hint of Cherry Heering and absinthe to the whiskey and vermouth mix.

The Rusty Nail
This one's for Verna.  A sexy mix of Scotch Whisky and Drambuie.  A little sweet, a whole lot sexy.
