We at Master Pancake are big fans of STAR TREK II: WRATH OF KHAN (1982).
We’ve been waiting a long time for a chance to mock Spock, irk Kirk, and deforest Kelly, so our jokes will be coming from a place of nerd love. WRATH OF KHAN features one of the best movie baddies: Ricardo Montalban as Khan, the titular villain whose hatred of Kirk is matched only by the amount of man-cleavage he reveals under his space-cardigan; when we say Khan is the titular villain of the movie, we’re not kidding.
The center of the movie is the fight between Khan and Kirk to prove who can act more: the guy with the mullet or the guy with the hairpiece. We don’t want to reveal the twist at the end but let’s just say George Takei isn’t what he appears to be.
Joining the crew for WRATH OF KHAN is audience favorite Owen Egerton who brings his considerable over-acting skills to bear. (John)
