This film was fought for by Groucho himself, who famously took on Warner Bros. after the studio tried to sue over the word "Casablanca." They eventual dropped the suit after Groucho questioned them right back: "What about 'Warner Brothers'? Do you own that too? You probably have the right to use the name Warner, but what about the name Brothers? Professionally, we were brothers long before you were."

It was a fight worth having as A NIGHT IN CASABLANCA is the pinnacle of the late Marx Bros. efforts. Usually scoffed at and thrown aside as a misfire it actually houses some of their best stuff.

First and foremost it's funny, which is the important part. But it's also a successful and sophisticated parody of the genre than the actual film CASABLANCA.

The Marxes finally set their madcap sights on Hollywood and hit their target...over and over.
