LOST IN TRANSLATION No Label Beer Feast

Join us at 7:00pm October 6th for the latest installment in our  "Independent movie, Independent beer" feast  series with No Label Brewery and the wistful Sofia Coppola masterpiece Lost in Translation.  This feast is $50 and worth every penny.  The performances from Bill Murray and ScarJo are brilliantly honest and it is with great pleasure we present to you the perfect feast to accompany the film. 

1st Course:
Shiitake miso with "Suntori Time" smoked chicken
A traditional Japanese starter made with kombu and bonito flakes.  We've put the Alamo spin on it by smoking the chicken with whiskey scented wood chips.

2nd Course:
Chili-Ponzu Yellowtail
Sushi grade yellowtail scented with a Japanese citron sauce surrounded by ribbons of daikon radish, garnished with cilantro and jalapenos.
No Label Pale Horse

3rd Course:
Soy and ginger marinated pork belly with cheddar grits and a "rising sun" fried egg
Slow roasted and lightly fried pork belly with mild cheddar grits and a honey-sriarcha reduction.  Sure to help ease your mind of all the karaoke you did the night before.

4th Course:
Green-tea and chocolate cheesecake
This will be a lighter version of cheesecake with softly whipped cream and green tea, keeping in theme with the menu and movie.
