The Movie Interruption is a live comedy event that has been delighting audience across the country. Created by Doug Benson (Super High Me, Doug Loves Movies) The Movie Interruption will appeal to both comedy fans and movie lovers alike. Professional comedians  with microphones sit in the front row and make hilarious jokes through movies, some classic and some otherwise. The movies are never the same and neither are the jokes as thee shows are 100% improvised every time.

Writer and director Kevin Smith embraces his warm and fuzzy side with this comedy drama about a man who learns a lot about life and love (and masturbation) in the wake of a personal tragedy. Ollie Trinke (Ben Affleck, playing the man with the most ridiculous name in the world) is a guy who seemingly has it made - a great job and is madly in love with his pregnant wife Gertrude (Jennifer Lopez, previously of  "The Block"). But when Gerturde dies in childbirth Ollie becomes the only person on earth to be sad at the death of Jennifer Lopez.  Juggling his career with single parenthood proves to be more than Ollie can manage, until a friendship with the free spirited Maya (Liv Tyler who, no matter how much she looks like one is not playing a fairy) reignites a spark Ollie thought died with his wife.

What happens when Kevin Smith stops making Jay and Silent Bob movies and tries to tell a story from the heart? Is dying J-Lo's best performance? Is it possible for a film to make George Carlin unfunny? Get all these answers and more as The Movie Interruption takes on JERSEY GIRL!
