Let's face it - we've got an all star kitchen staff.  Our waiters and cooks endure some pretty difficult conditions yet still manage to shine. Our film-themed feasts are the stuff of legend, from the 7-course Lord of the Rings Trilogy Feast to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles All-You-Can-Eat Pizza Party and everything in between.

But the most exciting demonstration of our culinary chops is, without a doubt, our IRON CHEF series.

For this series, our chefs face head to head against one of the city's hottest and most talented restaurant chefs in an all out war. With a film playing in the background to inspire them, the kitchen masters create dishes that dazzle the mind. A panel of celebrity judges along with input from our crowd will crown the winner.

This years culinary thrown down pits our chef vs WHOLE FOODS MARKET.
No matter who is anointed king, the audience is the real winner of the evening. You'll get to taste each of the courses prepared by the two teams, all while watching a marvelous film. This is about exciting dishes prepared by some of the best chefs in town - how could you go wrong?

And while we're on the subject of the film, we're very pleased to announce the film for this January edition of IRON CHEF: FRIED GREEN TOMATOES!

Meet the Chefs:

Team Alamo

Trish Eichelberger. Trish's life in the service industry began with her first job at the age of 15 at the Houston General Cinema Theater. Her career continued and her experience in fine dining grew to the point where she had back door access to all the fine dining kitchens around town and made a feast with 70lbs of butter. With a passion for the local farms, community events and the Austin food scene in general, she feels that the job is ripe with opportunity for both her and the Alamo Drafthouse.

Team Whole Foods Market

Santiago Flores but you can call him Chago. Originally from Monclova, Mexico Santiago enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering at the local animal shelter. He has worked for Whole Foods Market for almost 15 years and I has assisted in 18 new store openings including London!
