A small-town girl ventures to Los Angeles and finds her place in a neo-burlesque club run by the crypt keeper...I mean, a former dancer. From first time director Steve Antin, The Action Pack presents BURLESQUE in HECKLEVISION. Nominated for one Razzie and somehow three Golden Globes, The Action Pack is taking aim at Cher, Christina Aguilera, the eye-liner wearing pretty boy Cam Gigandet and America’s favorite supporting actor Stanley Tucci (Sorry Stanley...we still love). Not since GLITTER has a movie been as cliche-ridden and predictable with such a sense of overall cheesiness. And when a movie achieves all these cornerstones of the well-worn craft of awful, we feel it our duty--nay, obligation!--to ridicule it in a public forum with our texting devices.
So come on fellas, grab your lady and let’s head on down to the theater to watch some BURLESQUE! You can tell her it’s a night for her, and then you can sit and watch your text heckles appear ON SCREEN alongside the film as you enjoy it in your own special way. (Greg MacLennan)
