Burn off those extra holiday pounds by screaming yourself silly at this killer doll double feature from the Graveyard Shift, Houston's home for horror hounds.

The holidays, by their very nature, feature an excess of toys. Whether they're wrapped and sitting under the tree, tossed aside to make room for a shiny new video game or stalking you as you wonder through a darkened bedroom - unaware that you're being followed by a plush doll wielding a butcher knife, toys are everywhere. This January, they're even on the big screen.

Join the Graveyard Shift as we screen two classic killer toy films from the '80s, a decade that brought us so many gleefully deranged pint-sized killers. The night will begin with a 25th anniversary screening of CHILD’S PLAY, the most famous of all the toy traumas to be inflected upon unsuspecting children. Brad Dourif is Chucky, the Good Guy doll who is home to the pitch-black soul of a serial killer. Saved from death, Charles Lee Ray finds himself possessing a child's toy but that's not going to stop him from adding some notches to his kill list. Chris Sarandon and Catherine Hicks co-star.

DOLLS, an underrated gem from Stuart Gordon (RE-ANIMATOR, FROM BEYOND), teaches audiences that you’re never too old to stop playing with your toys – and if you think otherwise, you’re dead meat! When a group of strangers spend the night in a spooky old mansion, they are the guests of two magical toy makers who feel the need to remind this bunch of grumps the joy of childhood and the terror of tiny ceramic killers.

Both films will be screened in 35mm!
