Prepare yourselves, Humans, for this fitting and wholly satisfying resurrection of the PLANET OF THE APES saga.

Set in present day San Francisco, is a more reality-based cautionary tale blending science fiction with science fact, where man's own experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.

A portion of ticket sales from this event goes to support the 4th Annual Austin Gorilla Run. This year should be the biggest yet, with over 1000+ Gorillas being unleashed in downtown Austin on Jan. 25, 2014.

This 5K run benefits the Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund. A charity which benefit Ugandans, Rwandans, and citizens of the Democratic Republic of Congo in veterinary educational training, with the end goal of protecting the highly endangered Mountain Gorillas in Africa. In 1987 there were only 248 mountain gorillas alive in the world, but through the veterinary and conservation efforts of the MGCF, the population has nearly tripled to over 800 today.

We'll be partnering without our sponsor, Thirsty Planet Brewing Company, and hosting a special cask tapping of the charity beer, Silverback Pale Ale at this event. Proceeds from which go towards the MGCF.

Registration for the run and Gorilla suits will be available at the screening and wearing your Gorilla suit is highly recommended!
