Denzel Washington gives another first-class performance as "Whip," a commercial airline pilot who saves the lives of 98 people when he flies and lands a damaged plane. Afterwards he finds it hard to come to grips with being labeled an American hero.

An investigation begins surrounding the plane's malfunctions and Whip has to answer questions about his actions the night before the damaged flight. As he is asked more and more questions troubling revelations start to become uncovered and lead Whip's life down a decidedly different path.

Directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring John Goodman, Don Cheadle and Melissa Leo alongside Washington, FLIGHT was one of the best and most well-crafted films of last year.

Interview with Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost
