As part of our ongoing commitment to presenting rare titles on 70mm at The Ritz, this December we’re bringing you one of the rarest 70mm blow-up prints known to man: Francis Ford Coppola’s journey into the very heart of darkness itself, APOCALYPSE NOW. 

You know the world-weary war story, the Oscar-winning cinematography by the great Vittorio Storaro, the Oscar-winning sound design by the masters Walter Murch and Richard Beggs, so come to the Drafthouse and see APOCALYPSE NOW in 70mm!!!

We’ve had to virtually mortgage the theater to make this event happen, as this 70mm print is said to be the only such copy in existence. Not unlike the film's protagonist, the print has lost some of its luster over its long journey to the Drafthouse, but nowhere else in this whole wide world of cinephilia and film exhibition will you find this rarity shown! (Sam Prime)
