What is the AGFA Secret Screening series? It's a FREE monthly series featuring some of the best films discovered in the depths of the American Genre Film Archive - the Alamo's own personal collection of rare 35MM prints of obscure, independent, and underground genre films from every decade and all over the world. What you will see, you will never know until you sit down and the opening credits roll. But you can be certain of one thing; you'll see something awesome.

AGFA was formed in 2009 by an international band of movie enthusiasts and whose board includes Alamo Drafthouse Founder & CEO Tim League and renowned filmmakers Paul Thomas Anderson and Nicolas Winding Refn amongst others. It is the largest archive of its kind in the world, mainly focusing on the exploitation era of independent cinema – the 1960s through the 1980s. With over 3,200 35mm prints, the archive reflects the rebel spirit of the movies themselves.
