ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER 3D

Abraham Lincoln is arguably our nation's finest president. He emancipated the slaves and ushered in a new era of the United States, seeing the nation through its darkest hour - the Civil War - while promoting economic and industrial growth. He also hunted vampires. The man could do anything. 

Director Timur Bekmambetov (NIGHT WATCH, WANTED) isn't joking around with ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER. The joke is merely in the title and premise; the film is played entirely straight. So if you want to see the 16th president of the United States twirling an axe and chopping down some vamps in all earnestness, this is the film for you. Starring Benjamin Walker as honest Abe, Mary Elizabeth Winstead (SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD) as his beloved Mary Todd, as well as Alan Tudyk (FIREFLY, SERENITY), Dominic Cooper (CAPTAIN AMERICA) and Rufus Sewell (DARK CITY), ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER may not be the best Lincoln movie you see this year, but it'll be the bloodiest.
