After two months of heated inter-office debate over the merits of different entries into our "SXSW Don't Talk Celebrity Challenge," we have finally determined a winner. With the prize set at Two Year-Long Free Admission Passes to the Alamo Ritz, South Lamar & Village, we wanted to be damn sure everyone would be satisfied with the winning video.
First, we want to say thanks to everyone who entered. There were really some great submissions (and potential Class A misdemeanors), and we appreciate the effort everyone made in the name of this good cause.
And the winner is...Filmmaker Gavin Dahl!
His Austin-Convention-Center-set Don't Talk spot features comedians Doug Benson (SUPER HIGH ME) and Nick Thune delivering the all-important public service announcement, but the bit the tipped the scales is a surprise cameo by none other than Brian Posehn (COMEDIANS OF COMEDY, MR. SHOW, SARAH SILVERMAN PROGRAM) which cracks our shit up every time.
