For many of you, the Lakeline area will be unfamiliar, so we wanted to help you out with a list of restaurants, bars and sundry (indoor skydiving!) surrounding our FF2013 Headquarters.

Pinballz 8940 Research Blvd.  A massive 13,000 square foot BYOB classic arcade boasting everything from early '70s Bally pinball to Guitar Hero for those about to rock (we salute you).

Playland Skate Center 8822 McCann Drive. Come rub elbows with Austin's own Rollerderby Girls on their turf.

Common Interest 8440 Burnet Rd.  In front of a crowd or just your friends, this karaoke bar and grill lets you sing every night of the week.

iFly 13265 N. 183.  No plane? No problem. Austin's indoor skydiving experience that will blow you off your feet.

Main Event 13301 N. 183.  A multifaceted entertainment headquarters with bowling, laser tag, and more.

Top Golf 2700 Esperanza Crossing. Indoor golf complex where a driving range feel meets the skill and precision of darts/lawnball.

Austin Beerworks 3009 Industrial Terrace. One of Austin's new craft breweries, Austin Brewery hosts tours and events if scheduled ahead of time.

Highland Lanes 8909 Burnet Road.  Pure and simple bowling for those who tend to strike out.

K1 Speed Austin 2500 McHale Ct. Get your speed on low to the ground with indoor electric kart racing.

Zookeeper Pets 9012 Research Blvd. A truly unusual exotic pets store. Come visit Austin's only domesticated sloth!


The Omelettry 4811 Burnet Road. Outrageous mom n' pop breakfast stop! A hidden gem.

Caffe Yolly 14900 Avery Ranch Blvd. Great craft coffee for the morning and a little extra for your sweet tooth.

Natalie's Donuts 1525 Cypress Creek Rd. Donuts, tacos, kolaches, oh my. A quick stop for an easy breakfast.

Kerbey Lane Cafe 13435 Hwy 183 N. Homegrown in Austin and guarded by locals since 1980. The pancakes have more awards than your honor student.

Thunderbird Coffee 1401 W Koenig Ln. A locally-owned establishment offering high-quality, direct-trade coffee and great craft beers.

Blue Baker 10000 Research Blvd. Central Texas-founded bakery that prides itself on handmade breads.

Taco Deli 12001 Burnet Road. You can't come to Austin without eating breakfast tacos! And Taco Deli's the best of the best.   

Krispy Kreme 12586 Research Blvd. Because sometimes you want Krispy Kreme, okay?


The Pit BBQ 4707 Burnet Road. Authenticity reigns supreme at this sincerely down-home Texas barbecue staple. You'll need extra napkins and a looser belt.

Noble Pig 11815 620 N. This newer north Austin location boasts quality sandwiches you'll want to take back home.

Top Notch Burger 7525 Burnet Road. The greatest drive-in the city of Austin has ever seen. Ideal milkshakes and fried chicken that'll knock you senseless. Also, this local institution was prominently featured in DAZED & CONFUSED.

Five Guys Burgers and Fries 10000 Research Blvd. Voted "Best Burger" on dozens of lists, so make sure it makes yours!

La Casita 1519 W Anderson Lane. A hidden gem of Mexican culinary POWERRR!!! Get the bistek tacos and send your stomach to another dimension. Wowowow!

Moonies Burger House 13450 Research Blvd. This burger house has over a dozen choices from plain Jane to delicious buffalo or turkey.

The Frisco 6801 Burnet Road. An absolutely INCREDIBLE traditional Texas diner, and the longest-running greasy spoon eatery in Austin. One of the waitresses has been there for over 45 years! Get the damn patty melt and a slice of cake!

The Little Deli 7101-A Woodrow Ave. By far, Austin's most beloved neighborhood sandwich shop. Truly wonderful food and service, and their unbeatable pizza is their secret weapon!

Bombay Bistro 10710 Research Blvd, Ste 126. Indian food that'll rearrange your taste buds. The chicken tikka masala is flawless. Affordable lunch buffet to boot! And don't miss the gulab jamun dessert.

Chuy's 11680 Research Blvd. It all started on Barton Springs Rd with an idea and an Elvis statue. Now this Tex-Mex powerhouse has reached over 10 states.
Shanghai (Dim Sum) 6718 Middle Fiskville Road. Dim Sum and then some! Run by Austin old-timers the Yim family

Ramen Tatsuya 8557 Research Blvd #126. Authentic ramen in North Austin. This place is incredible. Deal with it.

Tomo 4101 W. Parmer Lane #E. Innovative, quality sushi with a diverse menu and delicious desserts!

Fonda San Miguel 2330 W. North Loop. An Austin establishment serving interior Mexican food with a hill country twist.
Uchiko 4200 N Lamar Blvd. Uchi on South Lamar is a long-time favorite of Fantastic Festers, and this sister restaurant offering Japanese farmhouse dining is a perfect complement now that we're further north!

Kobe Steak House 13492 U.S. 183. Teppan'yaki cuisine and badass sushi for the discerning eater.

Rockin Rice 6808 N Lamar Blvd. Korean fried chicken, you guys. Need we say more?


Baby Blues 8440 Burnet Road. Billiards, arcade games, and a whole lot of characters - this is just what you think of when you think "dive bar." (Except it's in a shopping strip. But go anyway! It's a good bar.)

La La's 2207 Justin Lane. It's always Christmas at LaLa's! This is a holiday-themed dive bar, and it is as wonderful as that sounds. 

Glass Half Full 14028 N US Highway 183, Bldg F. And of course we have our very own bar at Alamo Drafthouse Lakeline, your FF2013 drinking headquarters! We have an extensive cocktail, wine and beer menu, and I imagine we'll be seeing lots of you there. 


Dragon's Lair 2438 W Anderson Ln #1. A great selection of CCGs, comics, miniatures, anime, manga and gaming supplies.
