We’re looking for a few studs to strut their stuff at the midnight screening of MAGIC MIKE

Fellas, do you have what it takes to win our Mr. Alamo dance competition? Learn how you could win a $150 gift card to the Alamo Drafthouse by dancing before the midnight premiere of MAGIC MIKE this Thursday.

We’re looking for a few studs to strut their stuff at the midnight screening of MAGIC MIKE

This weekend MAGIC MIKE opens at our Mason Park location and, to celebrate, we’re looking to throw a ladies’ night celebration worthy of Channing Tatum’s abs.
MAGIC MIKE is the new film from director Steven Soderbergh. A full-frontal look at the pre-movie star life of actor Channing Tatum – back before he was a silver screen heartthrob and was making his money by stripping – MAGIC MIKE stars Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer, Matthew McConaughey and Joe Manganiello.

We’re throwing a special ladies’ night celebration at our midnight screening of the film – but hurry and get your tickets because they are going fast. And for good reason! We’re throwing a Mr. Alamo competition that is guaranteed to heat up the theater. Who is Mr. Alamo? Well, that’s where you come in.

Between 10:30 PM and 11 PM, we’re hosting auditions for our dance contest. Male contestants can show up before 11 PM to interview with our staff, learn the ground rules (all dances MUST be no steamier than PG-13. That means only your shirts can come off - sorry ladies!) and pick their music from our pre-selected list of dance-worthy tunes. Everybody who auditions will receive a coupon for a free movie ticket with purchase of an entrée. To reserve your spot in our audition queue, shoot us an e-mail here.

We’ll pick up to 10 contestants to compete in the pre-show entertainment. All ten of the contestants will receive a $10 food and beverage voucher. The show starts at 11:30 PM. The dancer who thrills the audience the most will walk away with a $150 gift card. A runner-up will go home with a $50 gift card.
